Eligible trainees include current medical/postgraduate students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty (< 3 years post training) with interest and focus on the discipline of reproductive infectious diseases (RID) in women that have not previously been awarded the scholarship. • One-page personal statement of how attendance will help support and advance their academic career in RID
  • Letter of support from their current chairman attesting to their current position

Prospective trainee attendees that submit abstracts through the abstract submission site and present their original work will receive additional travel support funds. (Note: the abstract submission site closes Monday, April 22, 2019, at 11:59 pm EST). Minority applications are encouraged.

Please contact IDSOG staff at if you have any questions.

I had a fabulous time and met many more potential mentors than I thought possible at a conference. Great research-oriented group of people who are very welcoming and passionate about what they do. The conference attendees were all welcoming and inspiring. I look forward to attending more conferences in the future! Great opportunity to make connections and learn about advances in the field!
